Mid-Pride Peach

One of the best-flavored, best-producing peaches for southern California and warm-winter Arizona climates - Dave Wilson's best selling, low-chill peach. Medium to large yellow freestone is sweet, juicy and aromatic with a distinctive, rich peach flavor. Highly recommended for home orchard planting.

For easy care and harvest, the tree may be kept to under 10 feet tall by summer pruning.

Low winter chilling requirement: about 250 hours below 45 degrees. Self-fruitful.

Leaf curl can be controlled by applying sulfur or copper-based fungicides that are labeled for use on peaches and nectarines. Spray the entire tree after 90% of the leaves have dropped in the fall and again in the early spring, just before the buds open.
